Avtex W163DR 16" LCD 12v TV / DVD / CD

The Avtex W163DR HD Ready All-in-one 16” Widescreen 12v LCD TV/DVD is a new model for the 2010 season and a welcome addition to the acclaimed Avtex stable. The W163DR is essentially the same as its big brother the W193DR with a 16in Widescreen housed in a smaller cabinet. Like the W193DR, the W163DR includes a recoding capability onto a USB memory device. This is something we have had many requests for and we are sure it will be very popular.
The W163DR TV is a State of the Art entertainment solution being built from the highest quality components and offering class leading specification and features. The High Grade screen offers excellent picture quality and great viewing angles (most of us sit either side of the ‘van looking at the TV from at least 45deg.). The sound quality is also superior to most LCD TVs.
One of the most frustrating things in the leisure market is having to re-tune your 12v TV when you relocate to a new campsite/mooring . The unique AQT (Avtex Quick Tune) allows you to tune the TV with the press of one button making it very easy to use. The AQT can be used on both the Digital and Multi-standard Analogue TV Tuners. This coupled with the inclusion of MHEG5 (many leisure TVs don’t have this) means the W163DR will also Auto-sort the Digital Channels for you. Other facilities included in MHEG5 are Digital Text and Red Button Interactive Services.
The W163DR has a built-in DVD player that will also play Audio CDs and CD-ROMS. There is also a memory card reader and USB port for viewing/listening to a variety of digital files. There is an excellent selection of sockets for connecting external devices including two HDMI ones for use with High Definition sources such as Freesat HD, Sky HD or an HD Camcorder. A CI slot is included for those who wish to watch subscription services.
The W163DR All-in-one can be used free standing on the supplied adjustable leg or it can be mounted on a bracket using the VESA mounting points. If you wish to purchase a bracket or your vehicle is pre-fitted with one there are two sets of “VESA” mounting bushes (75mm & 100mm).
All in all the W163DR is a truly remarkable piece of entertainment equipment that wouldn’t be out of place in any Leisure Vehicle or Home.
