All our 12 volt TV's and other 12v equipment is usually supplied with 12v leads terminated in a cigar type plug.
Most new British Caravans and Motorhomes are usually fitted with 12 volt cigar sockets. Older Caravans and Motorhomes are typically fitted with "Clipsal" type Sockets.
Continental Motorhomes and Caravans are usually fitted with 12v sockets that look like cigar sockets but are a smaller diameter, they are usually called "Hella" or "DIN" sockets.
If you have 12 volt sockets in your Caravan or Motorhome that are of the Clipsal or Hella type you will need one of the following adaptors in order to safeguard your 12v LCD TV as removing the cigar plug that houses the fuse and in the case of the Avtex models the regulated power supply will put the TV at risk and invalidate your warranty.
