With the older analogue TV Broadcasts it is possible to erect an aerial, do a search on your 12v TV and then adjust the aerial to improve the reception. Due to Digital Freeview Broadcasts being a lot weaker than Analogue and there being no grey areas, it is a perfect picture or none, we have been searching for an in-line signal strenght meter to help you align the aerial on your Caravan, Motorhome, Boat etc.
Due to most of population not requiring a Terrestrial Signal Strenght Meter for aligning TV Aerials, the meters currently available are for professional aerial installers. Some of them cost several thousands of pounds. We have however found a reasonably priced In-line Terrestrial Signal Strenght Meter in the Emitor DigiAir. We continue to look for alternatives and are hoping that some of the specialist manufacturers for the leisure industry will source some alternatives as we approach the Digital/Analogue switch over.
